MORALITY BITES! is a night of short plays with a difference. The dialogue is not just confined to the stage–it spreads to the audience and they carry it beyond the theatre doors.
After each play, the audience is invited to discuss and to weigh in on the choices the characters face:
When is the right time to kick your adult kid out of the house?
Do you apologize for something you didn’t do to save your job?
Does a critic have a responsibility to art? Are critics murderers?
What do we owe the stranger in our midst?
Is it okay to steal from the rich and give to the poor?
At the heart of these pieces is the desire to do the right thing--but what exactly is the right thing to do?
This is a Canadian Actors’ Equity Association production under the Festival Policy.

My seating section had four of us roughly the same age, with a couple of "boomers" behind us eager to weigh in. Healthy debate like this is rare these days, and Ouest End deserves credit for creating a space where it happens naturally.
