JOAN HART took her first professional bow at the Centaur Theatre at age 13 in Innocence Lost directed by Roy Surette, a moment that lit the spark for everything that followed. She later trained in Dawson College’s professional theatre program, where she fell in love with Shakespeare, language, and the craft of classical performance.

In recent years, Joan has found herself drawn to the camera, exploring stories that blur the line between beauty and grit. She made her feature debut as Bonnie in Le Plongeur and can be seen in the series Sorcières. This past summer, she filmed her first leading role in Requiem for a Sad Girl, a psychological horror.

She’s thrilled to return to the Centaur, full circle, where it all began.
